This workshop will help librarians answer the questions "What is temperament?" and "Why is it important to understand?" Temperament is how a person usually acts and is neither good nor bad. This workshop is based on current research and how this information can be used to optimize a child's growth and development and provides unique insights about children's temperaments. Participants will be learn in a small group activity how to utilize this information in their everyday planning.

Cheryl Hovey in an Early Childhood Consultant and President of Ez Ed 2 Go. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Child and Family services with a Master of Science in Birth to Three: Development and Intervention and Infants and Toddler Specialist. Cheryl is currently Adjunct Professor at Fisher College, as well as a Field Supervisor at Curry College. She was recently named the 2015 Exceptional Emerging Leader by Exchange Press Inc.
